Our F1 flanged Y-strainer is designed and manufactured to EN 1074 with face-to-face dimensions per DIN 3202 (Series F1). The Y-shaped body houses a stainless steel mesh screen that captures solids, debris, and particles from the flow stream — protecting pumps, valves, meters, and other downstream equipment from damage, blockage, and wear.

The ductile iron body and cover are cast from high-grade GGG50 for strength and long service life. The screen is woven from stainless steel SS304 for corrosion resistance and reliable filtration. A NBR gasket seals the cover, and a carbon steel drain plug at the bottom allows the line to be flushed without removing the cover. The cover bolts can be quickly removed for screen cleaning or replacement during maintenance.

With flanged ends drilled to EN 1092-2 and rated for both PN10 and PN16, this strainer covers the wide size range from DN15 to DN450. All wetted surfaces are protected by a blue fusion-bonded epoxy coating, and every unit is pressure-tested before shipment. Suitable for water, wastewater, and general fluid service up to 176°F (80°C).
