Silent Swing Check Valve (BS 5153) PN16
Our silent swing check valve is designed and manufactured to BS 5153, providing automatic non-return flow control with quiet, water-hammer-free operation. Unlike a conventional swing check valve that slams shut under reverse flow, this spring-assisted design closes the disc smoothly and rapidly, eliminating the noise and pressure surges associated with traditional check valves.
The ductile iron body and bonnet are cast from high-grade GGG50 for strength and long service life. The disc is ductile iron with NBR seating, guided by an internal spring mechanism that opens under forward flow and closes promptly under reverse flow. An EPDM gasket seals the bonnet joint for leak-tight performance.
With flanged ends drilled to EN 1092-2 and rated for PN16, this valve covers DN50 to DN300 and is suitable for horizontal installation in water supply, wastewater, HVAC, and pump discharge systems. All wetted surfaces are protected by a blue fusion-bonded epoxy coating, and every valve is pressure-tested before shipment.
