F6 Swing Check Valve (DIN 3202 F6 / EN 1074-3)
Our F6 swing check valve is designed and manufactured to EN 1074-3 and BS 5153, with face-to-face dimensions per DIN 3202 (Series F6). It is an automatic, non-return valve that allows flow in one direction and closes instantly under reverse flow, protecting pumps, meters, and pipeline equipment from backflow and water hammer damage.
The ductile iron body and bonnet are cast from high-grade GGG50 for strength and long service life. The disc swings freely on a stainless steel hinge pin (SS420), opening under forward flow and closing under gravity and reverse pressure. Both the body and disc are fitted with bronze seat rings, providing durable, corrosion-resistant sealing. A TFL and NBR gasket combination ensures a leak-tight bonnet joint.
With flanged ends drilled to EN 1092-2 and rated for PN10, this valve covers the wide size range from DN40 to DN600. All wetted surfaces are protected by a blue fusion-bonded epoxy coating, suitable for water and wastewater service from 0°C to 80°C. Every valve is pressure-tested before shipment.
