Overview:
The Ductile Iron Stepped Coupling is a special‑purpose transition coupling designed for connecting two plain‑end pipes with different outside diameters. Manufactured with high‑grade ductile iron sleeve and end rings, together with EPDM / SBR rubber gaskets and carbon‑steel bolt‑nut fasteners. It is rated for working pressure PN10 and PN16 for water supply pipelines.
This stepped coupling provides reliable, leak‑tight sealing to join dissimilar pipe sizes. Each end covers a specified range of pipe outer diameters. It offers an efficient on‑site solution for pipe size transition, pipe rehabilitation and repair work in municipal water networks, and can accommodate minor angular misalignment between the two connected pipes.
